Technical details
Plug the battery pack into this computer with a USB cable.
Press Connect battery pack and choose it from the list the browser
shows. You will then see which version it is runningits condition.
If you want the update, press Install and keep the cable
connected until it finishes.
If support asks for it, press Download diagnostic report
and send them the file.
If the update is interrupted, nothing is broken. Reconnect the cable and
install again — the battery pack will not run unfinished firmware.
Everything happens in your browser. This page sends nothing about your
battery pack anywhere; the report is only saved if you download it.
The battery pack is not in the list
Check the cable is in the battery pack's own USB socket, not a debug or
programming socket.
Try a different cable. Some USB cables carry power only and no data,
and they look identical.
On a computer with USB-C sockets, use a USB-A to USB-C cable or an adapter
if you have one. With a USB-C to USB-C cable the battery pack may start
charging the computer instead of connecting to it.
Close anything else that might be using the connection — a serial
terminal, another updater, or a second copy of this page.
Unplug the battery pack, wait a few seconds, plug it back in, then reload
this page.
